Terms of Service

What Team Picker Wheel provides, what it does not promise, and the one category of use it is genuinely not suitable for.

These terms apply to teampickerwheel.com and every tool on it. Using the site means you accept them. They are written to be read, not to be impenetrable, but they are a template rather than legal advice — if the outcome of a draw on this site would carry legal or financial weight, take proper advice before relying on it.

What the Service Is

Team Picker Wheel provides free random pickers that run in your web browser. There is no account to create, nothing to install and nothing to pay. The site is provided as it is, and it may be changed, have tools added or removed, or be taken offline at any time without notice.

Everything the tools do happens on your own device. No server of ours receives your entries or your results. That is described in detail in the privacy notice.

Acceptable Use

You may use the tools for any lawful purpose, personal or commercial, including in a classroom, on a stream, or in a workplace, with no licence or attribution required. You may not:

  • Use automated means to request pages at a rate that degrades the service for other people.
  • Copy the site’s written guides, design or code and republish them as your own.
  • Present the site, or a copy of it, as something operated by or endorsed by us.
  • Use the tools to run any activity that is unlawful where you are, including gambling that requires a licence you do not hold.

Entries You Type In

You are responsible for what you put on a wheel. Entries stay in your own browser and are never transmitted to us, so we cannot see them, moderate them or recover them.

Two consequences follow. First, if you clear your browser data your lists are gone permanently and we cannot restore them. Second, if you paste other people’s personal information into a wheel — a class roster, a list of customers — you remain the one responsible for that data under whatever rules apply to you, and you should check your own organization’s policy before doing it. Nothing on this site requires a real name to work.

A share link encodes your list into the URL itself. Anyone you send that link to can read every entry in it. Treat a share link as public.

No Warranty

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error free, or free of harmful components, nor that the sports rosters, game content or any other data shown are current or accurate. Rosters change and this site is maintained by hand.

What the Draw Is Not Suitable For

This is the most important clause on the page, so it is not buried in the warranty section.

The wheels use the browser’s cryptographic random number generator and are built to be unbiased, and the method is documented in full on the randomness methodology page. That is not the same thing as certification.

  • Do not use this site for regulated gambling, lotteries, sweepstakes or prize draws that require a certified random number generator. Those regimes require audited, tested and licensed systems. This site is none of those things and makes no claim to be.
  • Do not use it where a draw must be legally provable. Nothing is recorded on a server, so no independent record of any draw exists. The CSV export is produced by your own browser and proves nothing to a third party.
  • Do not use it for anything safety critical, or as the sole basis for a decision with significant financial, legal, medical or employment consequences.

For informal use — a classroom, a giveaway among friends, who goes first, splitting a team — it is exactly the right tool, and running the draw on a shared screen so everyone can watch is what makes it convincing.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Team Picker Wheel is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill or opportunity, arising out of your use of or inability to use the site, or out of any decision made on the basis of a result it produced.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Trademarks and Third-Party Content

Team names, club crests, league names and game titles shown on this site are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only.

Team Picker Wheel is an independent site. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the NFL, NBA, MLB or NHL, or by Epic Games, Mojang Studios, Roblox Corporation, or any other rights holder whose name appears on a tool page. Club crests are loaded from a third-party content delivery network at display time and are not hosted here.

If you own rights in something on this site and believe it is used improperly, email infodigirankrise@gmail.com with Legal in the subject line and the specific URL, and it will be looked at promptly.

Third-Party Services

Loading a page on this site causes your browser to contact two third parties directly: Google Fonts for typefaces, and ESPN’s content delivery network for club crests on the four sports pages. Those requests are governed by those companies’ own terms and privacy policies, not by these terms. The privacy notice names them.

Our Own Content

The written guides, page designs, wheel engine and code on this site belong to Team Picker Wheel. You are welcome to link to any page, quote a short passage with attribution, and use screenshots of the tools in reviews, tutorials, lesson materials and articles. Republishing a guide in full, or copying the tool itself, is not permitted.

Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated. The effective date at the top of this page changes when they do, and the current version always governs. Material changes — in particular the introduction of advertising or of anything that collects data about you — will be stated plainly on the about page and in the privacy notice rather than slipped in here.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. This is a choice of governing law for the terms themselves; it is not a statement about where the site is operated from. Nothing in these terms removes any consumer right you have under the mandatory law of the country you live in.
