How to use the MLB team wheel
- Set the field. All 30 clubs start on the wheel. Tap American League or National League to drop half the field, tap a division such as NL West to drop its five clubs, or tap a single crest to remove one.
- Spin. Press the big button, tap the hub in the middle of the wheel, or just hit the space bar.
- Read the result. The wheel slows to a stop and the winning club appears with its crest, conference and division.
- Keep going if you need an order. Switch on Remove team after it is picked and each winner drops off the wheel, so a run of spins gives you 30 teams in a random order with no repeats.

How Major League Baseball is laid out on the wheel
MLB runs fifteen clubs in each league, split into three divisions apiece. The American League holds the East (Orioles, Red Sox, Yankees, Rays, Blue Jays), Central (White Sox, Guardians, Tigers, Royals, Twins) and West (Astros, Angels, Athletics, Mariners, Rangers). The National League holds the East (Braves, Marlins, Mets, Phillies, Nationals), Central (Cubs, Reds, Brewers, Pirates, Cardinals) and West (Diamondbacks, Rockies, Dodgers, Padres, Giants). Each wedge is painted in the club’s primary colour and carries its cap logo.
Are the picks really random?
Yes. Every spin pulls a value from your browser’s cryptographic random number generator and rejects any value that would bias the outcome, so all 30 teams — or however many you left on the wheel — have exactly the same chance. The winner is chosen before the wheel starts turning; the animation simply drives to it. Nothing is weighted and no result is sent to a server.

How many teams are on the MLB wheel?
All 30 — fifteen American League clubs and fifteen National League clubs, arranged into six divisions.
Can I spin only the AL or only the NL?
Yes. Tap the league header to toggle all fifteen of its clubs at once, or tap a division name to toggle its five.
Why are the Athletics listed without a city?
The club currently competes simply as the Athletics while its long-term ballpark situation is settled, so that is how it appears on the wheel.
Can I get a random order rather than a single club?
Turn on “Remove team after it is picked” and keep spinning. Every winner leaves the wheel, so you finish with all 30 clubs in a random, repeat-free order.
